The price of dental implants can vary and it depends on where in the mouth the implant will sit and how simple or complicated the treatment is judged to be. The price can also vary if, for example, a sinus lift is needed or if you need to build bones to make it possible to get an implant.

The price also varies for those who are entitled to dental care support from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, as the treatment will be cheaper as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency covers part of the cost.

Dental implants are the treatment with the highest percentage of successful treatments globally with figures close to 98%. The treatment is very safe and the risks are minimal when the treatment protocols are followed closely.
The risks that exist are swelling, bleeding, loss of sensation (1% risk) and failed osseointegration (1-2% risk). The price of a root canal depends on how many canals a tooth has. Most teeth have between one and three roots, but there are also teeth with four or more roots. It is always recommended to put a crown on a root-filled tooth to strengthen the tooth and protect it.

The cost of a root canal varies between SEK 4,134 and SEK 6,816, depending on how many root canals are to be filled. A repair or crown is added. These prices are before the deductions from the Social Insurance Agency, the size of the deduction depends on how high the level of care the patient has reached. Teeth grinding is when you, usually during sleep, grind your teeth against each other. This results in losing tooth enamel and thus vertical height which results in temporomandibular disorders, aches, headaches, problems with the neck and also changes in the shape of the face. A typical outcome of a long period of grinding is short teeth, sunken face which is very wide as the muscles in the face have to work around the clock and therefore become very powerful. Teeth grinding usually due to stress but can also be due to an unstable bite. This is corrected with exercises, possible bite grinding and a bite splint that you use to sleep. A bite splint helps the jaw muscles to relax and thus treats symptoms such as headaches. The bite splint also protects the teeth and jaw joint.

How long teeth whitening takes varies a lot and depends on various factors. The factors that determine how long a bleaching lasts before the teeth darken again are smoking, wine, coffee, tea, soft drinks and basically all colored food. Genetics is also a factor, some tooth types attract dyes more easily than others. During the bleaching period and a few days after, you should refrain from e.g. wine, coffee and snuff to prevent the teeth from becoming discolored, as the enamel is more likely to discolor immediately after bleaching. At TandCity we have two types of teeth whitening. The most common bleaching method is clinic bleaching, which means bleaching at our clinic. The treatment takes approximately 90 minutes and is carried out by our dental hygienist who is an expert in clinic whitening. You get whiter teeth immediately! This also includes individual whitening trays that we produce so that you can freshen up your smile a little from time to time at home. Whitening gel for home use is also included. Clinic bleaching costs SEK 5,500.

The other variant is home bleaching. You start with a visit to our dental hygienist, who then takes an impression and prepares whitening trays. You also get whitening gel to whiten your teeth at home. Most often, you bleach overnight, at least 4 hours, for a couple of days until the desired shade is achieved. Home bleaching costs SEK 3,500.

You can always buy more bleaching gel from us at the clinic when the gel runs out.

There are many different brands of teeth whitening. After we have tried out a number of different brands, we have come to the conclusion that the one that is the best in tests in terms of both results and kindness to the teeth is Phillips ZOOM, which is a world-leading player in clinic whitening. We use Opalescens for home whitening as they are the best at this.

The most important thing for us is that teeth whitening should be safe to use and should have underlying studies that support this. We never use teeth whitening that has not been on the market for a long time and where there are insufficient studies to support its safety.

The guarantee applies to the prosthetic construction and not to biological complications that may arise during and after treatment.

Implant:

We use original components to the greatest extent possible for our implant treatments, and these are covered by a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer.

Not all implants heal as we would like. This can be due to a large number of factors. If an implant is unexpectedly lost during installation / healing, we will make a new attempt free of charge.

Remedial measures:

Operational measures:

Extractions, complicated extractions and operational extractions.

These measures include control and after-treatment including suture removal, treatment of after-effects including dry socket up to 14 days after the treatment, and, if necessary, control X-rays.

Generally:

All prosthetic work is done to the greatest extent possible at our in-house lab, which has the same warranty period as above.

For the guarantee to apply, the treatment must be what the treating dentist has suggested and arrived at in consultation with you as the patient.

The treatment must be completed and paid for in full.

The warranty is intended for technical complications. Dissatisfaction alone is not sufficient as a reason for warranty action. The work is approved by the patient before permanent cementation / delivery.

Complications as a result of caries, lack of oral health / hygiene, smoking, general health conditions, biology and other factors beyond the control of the practitioner are not covered by the guarantee.

In cases where extended treatment is required or desired, you pay the difference yourself.

For all fixed prosthetics and aesthetic repairs, a bite splint must be produced and used by the patient for the warranty to apply if this is deemed necessary by your treating dentist.
